Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

HGV experience is essential 
DAF experience would be an added advantage 
An HGV licence would also be advantageous

Hours of Work:

Day shift role: Alternating early / late shifts, Monday to Friday
Night shift role: 4 nights per week

AUTOMOTIVE PRE-DELIVERY OPERATORS AND SENIOR PDI TECHNICIANS

Reporting to: Fleet Operations Director

Due to continued growth at Greenhous Limited Fleet, High Ercall, vacancies have arisen for Senior PDI Technicians and Automotive Pre-Delivery Operators.

Key Responsibilities:

AUTOMOTIVE PRE-DELIVERY OPERATOR

As part of your role, you will be undertaking general maintenance checks including tyre pressures, lights, fluids, wheel nuts and controls.

No formal qualifications are required although experience in a similar role would be welcome, training will be provided.

SENIOR PDI TECHNICIAN

A Senior PDI Technician will have the added responsibility of fitting any accessories and additional equipment such as dual controls, hardtops, Bed-liners and Tonneau covers, and will also complete the final quality check on all vehicles.  

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements:

A driving licence is essential.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm i.e. 42.5 hours per week.
30 minutes for lunch (unpaid)

VOLVO PRODUCT SPECIALIST

Reporting to: Sales Manager

Key Responsibilites:

To increase the efficiency and capacity of the sales team within a Volvo retailer by providing an expert resource that enhances the Volvo customer buying and ownership experience through:

Offering exceptional Volvo Cars product knowledge and insight

Delivering bespoke new and used car presentations and handovers

Creating product and accessories displays which are relevant and engaging

Provide all customers with specific and relevant information about new and used Volvo Cars, accessories and merchandise.

Planning, managing and execution of product presentations to customers; new and used cars.

Support the planning, managing and delivery of test drives alongside the Sales team.

Offer additional product insight within the test drive and customer appointments.

Offer product information, insights, and test drives to prospective lease car purchasers, who may not be purchasing from your dealership.

Manage retailer product display and accessories merchandising.

Planning, managing and delivering customer handovers for new and used cars.

Maintaining retailer point of sale materials for the Volvo range.

Researching key competitor product information and sharing this knowledge within the sales department.

Supporting the sales manager to maintain a strong retailer online product display for new and used cars.

Greenhous PDI Centre, Stoke-on-Trent

 

Reporting to: PDI Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Driver/Compound Operative to join the busy team at the PDI Centre, Stoke-on-Trent.

Key Responsibilities:

Transferring vehicles on site – there is a significant amount of walking around the site involved.

Routine tasks e.g. fitting number plates.

Recording work activity using a bar code scanner.

Associated administration.

The occasional delivery of vehicles is required.

Clean driving licence essential.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm i.e. 40 hours per week. 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid)
