Charlie Foden is celebrating success after a lot of hard work in on line studying and practical tasks that were evaluated by the Volkswagen National Learning Centre (NLC) in Milton Keynes.
The Greenhous VW Van Centre technician is based in Bilston and he has mastered many aspects of the technical work needed to become and accredited technician with VW. Among the areas of expertise he has gained are warranty best practice, service and maintenance, air bag handling, vehicle inspection, precise measurement and diagnostics.
Charlie says of the coursework: “I scored really well on all of my tasks, both on line and in the practical sessions at the NLC where the tutors were on hand to watch what I did in carrying out set tasks on vehicles. I now want to move on to the next level of training and become a Qualified VW technician in the next 18 months or so. My ambition is to become a Master Technician with Greenhous VW Commercials.”
Not only did Charlie receive his certificate from Aftermarket Manager, Andrew Barrington, but he also received £125 and a pin badge designating his status.
Charlie lives in Burntwood, Cannock and enjoys playing football and has been involved in various martial arts from a young age and achieved his black belt in kick-boxing.
