Greenhous VW investing in the future through apprenticeships.
Greenhous Volkswagen Commercials in Bilston has just taken on two new apprentices on the VW Apprenticeship Programme, a three year course leading to a qualified status with the brand. The apprentices started work in September at the dealership just off the Black Country Route.

Connor Longhurst comes from Wolverhampton and this is his first venture into the world of work after leaving school.  Connor looked for apprenticeships on line and came across the opportunity to join Greenhous.  He is now employed as an apprentice service advisor.

Jack Wilkes is from Bilston and he also has come straight from school into a role as an apprentice technician.  This is something Jack has had as an ambition to do for some time.  Both apprentices will be trained at the Greenhous VW dealership jn Bilston as well as visiting the VW National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes.

Andrew Barrington, aftermarket manager at Greenhous VW Commercials Bilston, says that this is another example of the company investing in its future: “We need to continue to bring in talented young people to be trained in what we call the ‘Greenhous Way’.  The three year apprenticeship includes blocks of time spent at Milton Keynes and as their parent company we will fund their travel and accommodation.  When they graduate they will be qualified in their field”
