RMW extend service fleet taking on a new Greenhous VW Transporter.
RMW Electrical Services Limited of Shrewsbury and Greenhous VW Commercials have built a successful and long-term business relationship, with the level of customer service provided proving to be a key component in that partnership.

RMW are one of the largest electrical contractors in Shropshire.  Established in 1981, the business now operates from the Sweetlake Business Park on Longden Road in Shrewsbury.  The vast majority of the work carried out is on the design, installation and servicing of electrical systems in the commercial and industrial sectors. They also design, install and maintain fire alarm and security systems.

Christine Whitrick is the Managing Director of RMW. She says: “We have a growing number of directly employed staff including several apprentice electricians. We work closely with a vast spectrum of commercial and industrial clients. These include our local authority, several shopping centres, Care Homes, agricultural properties, schools, shops, factories and warehouses. We carried out the complete electrical refurbishment of the Shrewsbury Music Hall as part of its transition to a museum. Our growth has resulted in the need for increased transportation.

Mark Tudor is the Company’s Business Development Manager and he explains about the company’s fleet requirements including this new cherry red VW Transporter Highline Euro 6, 2 litre van. “We now have a total of 10 new VW vehicles that complement our fleet and are regularly out on the road. Our service and installation team are out every day working on our contracts.  I took delivery our first VW Transporter which arrived in February 2014 and the fleet continues to grow.”

Delighted to be supplying RMW with another VW product, Ryan Evans, sales executive for Greenhous VW, elaborated on the popularity of the VW Transporter: “The T6 transporter is following on from its predecessors as a highly sought after solution for businesses like RMW who have an installation, service or maintenance component. The vehicles can be lined inside and racked to the specifications of the customer.  Reliability, good fuel consumption and a high residual value are contributory factors to its success in the marketplace.

“We are pleased to continue our strong partnership with RMW who have successfully completed projects at our own Greenhous dealerships and offices.”
